Complaints Against Movers

Did a mover hold your goods hostage, change the price at delivery, or damage your furniture without owning up? We maintain a blacklist and will escalate verified complaints. Send us the mover's name, GST number, and a short description. We respond within 24 hours and can sometimes help recover deposits.

We're onboarding verified packers and movers across Delhi NCR. To list on ShiftCompare, you'll need an active GST certificate, two years of operational history, and references from past clients. We don't charge upfront fees. You pay only when we connect you with a customer who books. Use the form and select "Mover partnership / listing" as the subject.

How we handle mover complaints

Step 1 - Verify your complaint

We ask for basic documentation: your booking confirmation, the mover's GST number, and what went wrong. This takes 10 minutes on your side.

Step 2 - Contact the mover

We reach out to the mover and ask for their version. Most disputes involving overcharging get resolved at this stage when the mover realises there's a paper trail.

Step 3 - Escalate if needed

If the mover is unresponsive or their behaviour was clearly fraudulent, we add them to our blacklist and provide you with the information you need to file a consumer court complaint.

Step 4 - Update the record

Verified complaints are added to that mover's profile so future customers can see the history before booking. This is the most effective deterrent we have against repeat offenders.
