Worked 1 BHK Noida quote example
Imagine you are moving from a rented 1 BHK in Sector 62 to a high-rise in Sector 78. You have one bed, one mattress, one small sofa, one TV, one fridge, one washing machine, a work desk, kitchen cartons, clothes bags and a few plants. That is still a small move, but it is not a driver-only tempo job.
A fair quote may show Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,500 for packing material, Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,500 for labour and handling, and Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000 for the tempo or small truck. If the drop tower has a strict lift slot or the truck cannot stand near the loading bay, your quote may add a long-carry or waiting condition. That condition should be written before you pay the token.
If your load is lighter, you can reduce cost by packing clothes and books yourself. If your TV is large, your fridge is double-door or your sofa needs dismantling, do not cut the packing line. Our team would rather see you save Rs 1,000 on loose items than lose Rs 15,000 on a damaged appliance.
For payment, keep the advance small and traceable. Ask for the company name, phone, GST choice and delivery payment terms. You should also keep a photo list of the TV, fridge, washing machine and cartons before loading. A simple record makes delivery checking calmer.
If the pickup is a PG or shared flat, tell the mover what can be packed and what belongs to the landlord or roommate. This sounds basic, but it avoids confusion when several similar bags, chairs or kitchen items are in one room. If you are moving from a furnished rental, mark your own items with tape before the crew arrives.
For a 1 BHK delivery, check the big items before final payment: TV screen, fridge door, washing machine drum, bed fittings and carton count. You do not need to open every spoon carton at the gate, but you should confirm the high-risk pieces. If something looks wrong, photograph it before the crew leaves.
